Before you turn it on.

Thank you for purchasing a computer from Crescent PCs.   Please read through these instructions before turning on your new computer.

You have some basic setup to do before you plug in the computer.

First: Removing the internal packing foam.

If your computer was shipped to you, please carefully remove the left side panel and the Insta packing foam used to protect the computer's internal parts during shipping.

If the foam is not removed, severe irreversible damage may occur to your computer that is not covered under your 30-day return or replacement warranty.

Second: Connecting the monitor.

Some computers have what’s called a dedicated graphic card.  That is a graphics card separate from an integrated graphics card that is part of the computer’s motherboard and CPU.  If your system has a dedicated graphics card, you must attach your monitor to that graphics card.

Third: Attaching your Wi-Fi antennas

Wi-Fi antennas are not connected to the computer to help prevent damage during shipping.  They are easy to hook up and do not require tools.  They are somewhat fragile and need only be finger-tight.  They screw onto the back of the computer, generally to the IO panel of the motherboard.

Fourth: Connecting the Power cord.

Before plugging in the power cord to the back of the computer, turn the power button off on the Power Supply Unit (PSU).  Plug the cord into a quality surge protector or battery backup.  The computer should not be plugged directly into the wall socket.  Next, plug the computer end of the power cord into the computer.  Turn the PSU’s power switch on and lightly tap the power on button on the front of the computer.

Fifth: Adjusting the RGB lights for a Montech case.

To adjust the RGB colors and strobing, lightly tap the small round button on the top of the case.

Push and hold the button to turn off all fan colors and strobing effects until the effects turn off.

Again, thank you for the purchase of a crescente PC computer.  If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Sincerely

Dave CEO
